Disclaimer & update

This article was originally published in January 2021 and refreshed for 2025.
Back then, Hyperhuman had just raised its first funding round and was focused on empowering fitness trainers with AI-powered video workflows. Today, that same vision has evolved into a full Fitness Content OS for health, wellness & fitness companies—while still staying true to our original mission.

We raised 500k EUR to build the go-to product for fitness

We’re still extremely proud of this milestone:
Hyperhuman closed its first investment round of 500k EUR, led by Early Game Ventures, with participation from Sparking Capital and Simple Capital.

That early backing helped us:

The problem we set out to solve (then and now)

2021: quality fitness content was hard and expensive

In the early days, we saw a clear pattern:

The result?
A lack of content diversity and personalization, leading to churn and disengagement.

Our original answer was simple but ambitious:

“We solve this problem using our proprietary video AI technology. Trainers record short videos with the key moves and the AI engine does all the heavy lifting for them.”

2025: the same problem, bigger scale—and a bigger answer

The core challenge hasn’t changed. What’s changed is:

Today, Hyperhuman is the content infrastructure behind those experiences—not just a tool for editing videos.

From “trainer app” to Fitness Content OS

Before: an app that auto-edited workouts

In 2021, our product vision looked like this:

We launched the Hyperhuman app in private beta, inviting trainers to join a waiting list at hyperhuman.cc and test-drive the technology.

Now: a platform powering full ecosystems

Fast-forward to today, and that same core technology has evolved into a full Fitness Content OS that serves:

The platform now includes:

The seed round that once powered a “trainer app” now underpins a global content infrastructure for digital health & fitness.

The vision that hasn’t changed

Some things changed dramatically; our vision did not.

Back in 2021, we wrote:

“Our goal is to become the go-to product for fitness trainers and a key player in the global fitness industry. This investment will help us build and extend our proprietary video AI technology, launch the product and acquire a critical mass of users.”
— Bogdan Predusca, Co-founder & CEO, Hyperhuman

That goal has evolved into:

What this funding enabled (a quick before/now snapshot)

Then (2021)

Now (2025)

The seed investment was the starting point. The vision—to reinvent how fitness content is produced, personalized, and monetized—still guides every product decision we make.

What’s next

We’re still obsessed with the same problem:

How do we make it radically easier for organizations to create, personalize, and deliver fitness content that people actually use—and stick with?

In practice, that means:

If you want to see what that looks like for your business:

To everyone who believed in us back in 2021—and everyone joining us now—thank you. We’re just getting started.
