Disclaimer & update
This article was originally published in January 2021 and refreshed for 2025.
Back then, Hyperhuman had just raised its first funding round and was focused on empowering fitness trainers with AI-powered video workflows. Today, that same vision has evolved into a full Fitness Content OS for health, wellness & fitness companies—while still staying true to our original mission.
We raised 500k EUR to build the go-to product for fitness
We’re still extremely proud of this milestone:
Hyperhuman closed its first investment round of 500k EUR, led by Early Game Ventures, with participation from Sparking Capital and Simple Capital.
That early backing helped us:
-
Build and launch our AI-powered content platform
-
Prove that fitness video production could be radically simplified
-
Start redefining how fitness content is produced, personalized, and delivered

The problem we set out to solve (then and now)
2021: quality fitness content was hard and expensive
In the early days, we saw a clear pattern:
-
Fitness products and services were multiplying in a “train anytime & anywhere” world
-
Demand for high-quality fitness video content exploded
-
But producing that content—at scale—was:
-
Slow
-
Costly
-
Highly dependent on manual editing and production teams
-
The result?
A lack of content diversity and personalization, leading to churn and disengagement.
Our original answer was simple but ambitious:
“We solve this problem using our proprietary video AI technology. Trainers record short videos with the key moves and the AI engine does all the heavy lifting for them.”
2025: the same problem, bigger scale—and a bigger answer
The core challenge hasn’t changed. What’s changed is:
-
The scale of content needed by fitness apps, gyms, wellness providers, and digital health platforms
-
The expectation for personalization, localization, and omnichannel delivery
-
The role of AI as the engine behind both content production and experience
Today, Hyperhuman is the content infrastructure behind those experiences—not just a tool for editing videos.

From “trainer app” to Fitness Content OS
Before: an app that auto-edited workouts
In 2021, our product vision looked like this:
-
Trainers recorded short videos of key moves
-
Our AI extracted key insights and metadata from those videos
-
We turned them into reusable content blocks
-
Trainers could create studio-quality workouts in under 10 minutes
-
We promised there would always be a free version for trainers to start with
We launched the Hyperhuman app in private beta, inviting trainers to join a waiting list at hyperhuman.cc and test-drive the technology.
Now: a platform powering full ecosystems
Fast-forward to today, and that same core technology has evolved into a full Fitness Content OS that serves:
-
Gyms & hybrid businesses
-
Fitness apps & digital platforms
-
Agencies & production studios
-
Wellness and health providers
The platform now includes:
-
AI-powered content studio
-
Turn raw footage into labeled exercise blocks
-
Build audience-specific workouts and programs in minutes
-
-
Omnichannel export and delivery
-
Full HD videos, interactive workouts, audio, and social clips
-
-
Fitness Content API
-
Deliver content directly into your own product:

The seed round that once powered a “trainer app” now underpins a global content infrastructure for digital health & fitness.

The vision that hasn’t changed
Some things changed dramatically; our vision did not.
Back in 2021, we wrote:
“Our goal is to become the go-to product for fitness trainers and a key player in the global fitness industry. This investment will help us build and extend our proprietary video AI technology, launch the product and acquire a critical mass of users.”
— Bogdan Predusca, Co-founder & CEO, Hyperhuman
That goal has evolved into:
-
Becoming the go-to content infrastructure for health, wellness & fitness
-
Powering personalized, video-first experiences that drive real health outcomes
-
Helping companies move from “we have some videos” to “we have a scalable, intelligent content system”

What’s next
We’re still obsessed with the same problem:
How do we make it radically easier for organizations to create, personalize, and deliver fitness content that people actually use—and stick with?
In practice, that means:
-
Pushing AI further into personalization and automation
-
Deepening integrations with partners and health ecosystems
-
Helping more companies launch or upgrade their video-first experiences, faster
